[Inside Mount] blinds width should 1/2" less than exact window width, blinds length is exact window height, window depth should be 2" at least. [Outside Mount] exact window width plus 4" is shade width, window height plus 8" is shade length.

When you receive this cordless roller shades, please check if there is any quality problem with the blinds. If replacement is required due to damage/defect/manufacturing error, please provide a product photo to discuss with the seller. First of all, it is important to provide a basic inspection process to know the current situation. We appreciate your understanding and support here.
Shade width is hardware width, not fabric width. So when mounted inside, there is a about 3/4" small gap on each side of the shutter. The window frame can cover it, but if the window frame is thin or almost empty, the gap may not be fully covered.
